With this solar powered security light there is no need to connect it to an electricity supply and therefore there are no running costs either. There are three switch options: on, off or auto with further controls for light level, how long the light sold stay on after detecting motion, and the range of detection. This is an effective alarm with a simple on/off switch. The alarm is quite piercing and loud – sufficient for purpose. With it sticky backing it adheres best to glass but ensure the backing is kept clean before applying to a surface. The alarm comes with six LR44 batteries (3 for each device) and there is a built-in low battery indicator. We found that a gentle tap o the window would set it off. This is a deft little device useful for sheds and greenhouses.
